We keep in touch
Young people who complete an Element project become part of our network. Each project keeps in touch on a private WhatsApp group where Element staff post information about our reunion events and opportunities through our network partners.
We regularly invite groups to meet and catch up with each other. These events often include a ticket to an exciting cultural event, be it comedy, theatre or an exhibition. In the last year we have been to shows at the National Theatre, the Royal Court, Battersea Arts Centre, the Tower of London, Soho Theatre the Saatchi Gallery and Tate Britain
Network partners and opportunities
We have a list of amazing arts and employability partners who offer fantastic programmes for young people. Once a young person completes a project we link them up to their next opportunity. These present a chance to explore an art form in more depth, or to start looking for employment.
We have a fortnightly drop in where young people who have completed projects with us are invited to work on any creative projects they like, and also receive support applying to opportunities with our network partners.
Element Paid opportunities
We have a range paid opportunities with Element open to our alumni. These include facilitating sessions for professionals or other young people, consulting, and sitting on interview panels. We also run a summer internship scheme for alumni who are interested in learning more about the design and delivery of creative youth projects. All opportunities are paid the London Living Wage.
Alumni of our projects have the opportunity to submit their portfolio for a Bronze Arts Award - a Level One qualification that looks great on your CV.
